Re: Moto X

Most tracks here in the states are the same. You can get right to the fence. Daytona supercross track is a cross between supercross and motocross but it's in the infield of the Daytona Speedway so you can't get to the fence there. That track is only half an hour away from me.

Re: Splash!

Very cool shot. I dabbled with some water drops a while ago pre SDP. You have inspired me to try again.

How many attempts did it take to get that one? Looks like something you would see swimming in the deep. (-:

shooting the eclips

I am not in the direct path but should get a nice view if it's not cloudy out. Can I hold a piece of welding glass over my lens to help keep it safe. I see solar filter talked about but when I click on the links it goes to the glasses for most. What about a circular polarizer? Would that be better? ...

a little focus stacking

I have only tried a few times but I kind of like this one.

6 images stacked. Taken from the neighbors front yard right after a little rain.

Re: Had some time for some post work

Nice job on all of those. I don't have much experience so can't really give any good advice. Only thing to me is the branch in the first image grabs my eye as much as the heron. I have not seen too many spoonbill on this side of FL but those are some spectacular birds for sure. Thanks for posting.

Those are great.

I can almost hear the chatter of the little bugger. I really like this set.

Thanks for sharing them.

Re: Alle oop

Another nice action shot Chiimpy He looks like he's getting ready for a face plant on the rocks. OUCH. I have tried taking pics of the kite surfers around here. Fun to watch for sure. I always struggled as to get a good image of the person the colorful kite is no where to be seen and to get the kite...
