My old 2 drive nas unit blew up, and it was slow as molasses when it did work.
This might be something to look into.

Good interesting shot! Yep the Hoya r72 IR filter can be a lot of fun, and much less expensive than having a body converted to IR. Try some red/blue channel sapping when developing the IR images! Most of this vanishes once the mechanical shutter is activated and it drops to a slow 5fps, if you want to use flash I believe it needs to switch to mechanical shutter.. And agree, have never had my Canons overheat, show banding or run out of battery power. I hear it also still shows rolling shutter...
