The view from Dalkey island.

1/400th, f8, ISO 100, 95mm
Looking south-southwest so shooting somewhat into the sun.
I wasn't interested in the detail along the coastal strip so I left it under exposed.
The little markon the hill is the Ballycorus chimney. Included is a closer shot taken in September last year.
All CC welcomed.

Re: Friends or rivals ?

Thanks.
There was plenty of light so I was able to use f8 which is meant to be the sharpest f-stop, though I haven't particularly noticed.

Friends or rivals ?

Went for a return visit to Dalkey island but this time with my good frient Tony and his daughter Gráinne.
It was high tide so the seals were out swimming but I caught these gentlemen loitering about.
1/800th, f8, ISO 180, 600mm. Cropped.

Re: Sportscars on track.

A mighty shot, Geedee. You captured the torrental rain and the Caterham (Loutus super 7) brilliantly.
Looks like he doesn't even have hit lid up !
