It's the Small Things.

Went out to a small pond and hiking train this morning. The light was too poor for wildlife so I transitioned to shooting the smaller details of the environment. 1) Leaf with a Harvestment hanging out. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1852/44666678462_d4e67e148a_b.jpg IMG_2160 by David Covarrubias , o...

Re: Guineafowl

Very interesting looking bird. The composition is a tad unorthodox but it works for me.

Rough Surf and Stormy Skies

Made it down to Cape Henlopen State Park this morning hoping to shoot sunrise. Unfortunately the stormy weather precluded that. Undeterred I made it to one of the jetties on the beach to get some shots. There was a little light peeking out through the clouds but not a whole lot. I popped on the 6 St...

Re: Rustle in the hedgerow

Nice catch. Usually the rusting in the hedges around here are lizards.

Bunnies and Birds at Prime Hook

Made a trip out to Prime Hook NWR this morning, my initial plan to shoot a beach sunrise shot down due to the chosen beach being closed for erosion control so I headed to the refuge. Managed a few shots before the sun got too high in the sky. Cottontail Rabbit that wandered across the trail in front...

Walking Among Giants

Hiking at Redden State Forest surrounded by ~70 ft. tall Loblolly Pines, makes you feel a little small.

Re: More sunflowers, focus merge.

I think it worked fairly well. Too bad the wind was present. Definitely something to keep practicing with.
