My New Wheels

Post by Roderick » Wed May 23, 2018 7:34 pm

She's called Lorraine. Google Lorraine Pascale and you'll see why. ;-)
Took this today but I've only just noticed the damn reflection in the door panel. Expletive deleted.

Nice ride Rod! Congrats! I know it's been a while coming, and I bet you're beaming  . Ol' Lorraine must not be that good of a cook; she looks slender. Enjoy! It's a sweet ride - let the part carry on, swim the sea and feel the breeze - definitely not a heap ;) .

Thanks Matt. A lot higher off the ground than my last motor.

I see what you did there, Jonny. A quote from the self proclaimed "worst band in the world" !
Can't explain Lorraine's slim figure. She whips up a a world class cake. She's an ex model so clearly must have entered into some form of pact with the devil to have her cake and eat it, as it were... ;-)

Rod - Well, I guess the Captain's Tambourine man or that German band you were listening to are a bit shy about proclaiming things :D

Thank you Mark. I took a lot of photos and half way through noticed my lens was in manual mode shhchh !

Jonny, I draw the line at Uriah Heap :-)
Funny you should reference The Captain. I was fiddling with the radio in the car after taking the photos and who should come on a local station but "yer man" with Joe Jackson, singing "Common People". Best version ever !

I'm trying to remember the German band you speak of - as soon as I get my mp3 collection loaded up on the car's hard disk I'll start searching.

Happy new car Rod... by your own admission you are going up in the world, though perhaps only by a few inches...(-:

Boy you guys (other than the obvious experts here (-:) have advanced your photographic skills considerably since we first met up in the other place...Perhaps C&T`s book purchase was worth more than the price of admission to their now dead forum..(-:

Great image Rod, you will not have reflection issues once you put it to some real 4x4 off road use when heading out over the bogs in search of wildlife images...(-:
ENJOY...

Back in the day I was higher than a lot of folks at traffic lights. That didn't work out so well ;)
